EQUIVALENCE ACHIEVING IN THE TRANSLATION OF A LITERARY TEXT (ON THE BASIS OF THE FRENCH TRANSLATING SCHOOL EXPERIENCE)

Alekseeva Elena Al'bertovna, Vella Tat'yana Mikhailovna
Voronezh State University

Abstract. The article is devoted to the problem of the equivalence achieving in the translation of a literary text. The difficulty of the problem stems from the fact that the literary text is a complex symbiosis of individual vision of the world, philosophical approach to the reality understanding, the author’s aesthetics and language creation as well. For solving the problem of achieving equivalence the authors suggest using the statements of the French translating schools, namely, the interpretive theory of translation that takes into account not linguistic but semantic bases for translation.
