THE CHINESE LITERATURE IN PEOPLE’S IMAGES (BY THE MATERIAL OF XYLOGARPHIC PAINTINGS N?AN H?A OF WUQIANG COUNTY)

Abstract. The article attempts to analyze one of the genre and thematic groups of xylographic painting N?an H?a - a literary one. The paper involves the description of three xylographic paintings illustrating the history of the great poets Tao Yuanming, Meng Haoran, Li Bo, kept in the museum N?an H?a in Wuqiang County. The author of the article comes to the conclusion about the main features of paintings, showing the interaction of artistic systems - literature and decorative and applied arts.
