COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF SORROW EMOTION METAPHORICAL IMAGE IN FRENCH AND ENGLISH PHRASEOLOGY

Abstract. The article reveals the features of the metaphorical reflection of sorrow emotions in French and English language phraseology. Comparative analysis of this emotion objective psychophysiological characteristics and their refraction through the prism of the perception of two different linguocultural communities are conducted. The author takes the concept of "physical metaphor" as a basis and focuses on similarities and specific, culturally, historically and nationally given peculiarities of phraseological sorrow portrait in the languages under consideration. George Lakoff, Yu. D. Apresyan, Z. Keveches theory is used as a scientific base.
