"RUSLAN AND LUDMILA" BY A. S. PUSHKIN: FOLKLORISTIC COMMENTARY. FOLLOWING THE WAYS OF LUDMILA: CANTO THE SECOND

Galieva Marianna Andreevna
M. V. Lomonosov Moscow State University

Abstract. The article presents the continuation of folkloristic commentary to the famous poem-tale by A. S. Pushkin "Ruslan and Ludmila", in which the author raises a problem of the latent existence of folk tradition in poetics. The second canto is interesting because it leads the reader in the wake of Lyudmila, i.e. allows following the initiative way of the heroine. From the viewpoint of folk logic Ludmila is a prophetic bride, whom Ruslan should obtain. Chernomor’s Chambers are "the other kingdom", the world of the dead that Ludmila as a cultural heroine should visit.
