LANGUAGE OF DIPLOMACY AS A LANGUAGE FOR SPECIFIC PURPOSES

Abstract. In the article the content of the notion "language for specific purposes" is revealed and the language of diplomacy is considered as one of the varieties of Language for specific purposes (LSP). The author focuses on the distinctive features and characteristics of languages for specific purposes, in particular, terminology, and analyzes the peculiarities of vocabulary, grammar and style of diplomatic documents.
