THE SPECIFICITY OF TEACHING LISTENING SKILLS TO STUDENTS OF NON-LINGUISTIC SPECIALTIES

Abstract. The article deals with the specificity of teaching listening skills to students of Bachelors and Masters programs of non-linguistic higher education establishment which provides the continuity and high-quality mastering of foreign language communication competences, the development of professional communication skills. On the basis of the research conducted by the authors it is proposed to single out the types, levels of listening (elementary, advanced and final) and the stages of teaching listening skills.
