PRAGMATIC PARAMETERS OF MASS-MEDIA TEXT

Abstract. The article examines the problems of combining the verbal and media levels of presentation information in the media text, identifies pragmatic parameters of media-speech containing the elements of suggestive technologies and inclusion in the dialogue of cultures. Dialogic nature of media-text, explicit and implicit evaluation of events, shift of event-trigger accents, distortion of reality, formation of reader’s false conceptions in their verbalization are shown by the example of the article from the British newspaper "The Daily Telegraph".
