TYPIFICATION OF THE SEMANTIC FIELDS OF THE VERBS OF PHYSICAL PERCEPTION IN THE RUSSIAN AND ENGLISH LANGUAGES

Abstract. The article describes the stage of semantic study of the field of the verbs of physical perception in the Russian and English languages where the author focuses on the choice of material for the research and on the development of the standard semantic field for two languages under comparison. According to the author, the standard field includes five micro-fields: micro-field of visual perception, micro-field of acoustic perception, micro-field of gustatory perception, micro-field of perception by the sense of smell and micro-field of tactile perception.
