Abstract. The article shows the potential of using the English-language sites of scientific-industrial and industrial-arts museums as an efficient tool of professionally-oriented teaching the English language at a nonlinguistic institution of higher education. It is stated that working with interactive sections of virtual museums contribute to the expansion of cultural views of students and the acquisition of foreign-language professional vocabulary by them. The conclusion is made that the content of virtual museums can be successfully integrated in the corresponding thematic blocks of the course of the English language for future specialists of fashion industry.
