Abstract. The article raises the problem of the uniqueness of Andrei Bely’s personality. The author concludes that the ontological foundation of Bely’s "life creativity" is the game beginning, embodied in the writer’s personality organization, his creative interaction with various philosophical and aesthetic, culturological conceptions of the 20th century, the phenomenon of "language game". The appearance of Bely’s playing personality in the world opens up new opportunities of spiritual and moral transformation for the mankind.
