Abstract. The article raises the problem of military students’ professional training at the Academies of the National Guard Forces Command of the Russian Federation. The author describes the requirements for the quality of military students’ engineering training when studying the discipline "Engineering provision of combat activity of the National Guard Forces Command of the Russian Federation". Studying this discipline the graduate can autonomously and competently achieve the current goals. The paper proposes the methods to raise the quality of their training.
