THEORETICAL UNDERSTANDING OF PSYCHOLOGICAL REHABILITATION OF THE BLIND AND VISUALLY IMPAIRED CHILDREN IN THE CONDITIONS OF THE CORRECTIONAL EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION

Abstract. The article reveals the content of the notion "psychological rehabilitation" in relation to the blind and visually impaired children, which is getting more topicality in Tiflopedagogics and Tiflopsychology. The significance of psychological rehabilitation in relation to the blind and visually impaired children in the conditions of the educational correctional institution is highlighted. Its definition is given. The causes of social disadaptation of the blind and visually impaired children are emphasized. The author traces the interconnection between the occurring disadaptation and the complex of "internal" causes.
