TATAR-RUSSIAN BILINGUALISM: PROBLEMS OF TEACHING LANGUAGES

Abstract. The article presents a short review of the main characteristics of the phenomenon of "bilingualism". The objective of the paper is finding out the interfering influence of the native language while teaching the Tatar language as nonnative and determining the mechanisms of its overcoming. Mastering a foreign language is closely connected with the interference, which is manifested at various language levels, most often in the phonetics and in the form of accent - while speaking. The paper analyzes the most typical interfering errors of the Russian learners, which are found in the oral and written speech.
