ICONIC TEXT (PHOTO) AS THE EDUCATIONAL RESOURCE OF INTERCULTURAL FOREIGN LANGUAGE EDUCATION

Abstract. The article determines and substantiates the notion of a cultural-specific photo as a means of intercultural foreign language education at the present stage in the context of metaculture; and summarizes the methodological potential of cultural-specific photos as an educational resource. The main regulations of the technology of work with cultural-specific photos as well as the achievable results of its application are briefly presented.
