UNDERSTANDING OF THE NATIONAL PARADIGM IN THE NOVEL BY K. ABRAMOV "STEPAN ERZY"

Antonova Vera Ivanovna, Golyakov Andrei Nikolaevich
Ogarev Mordovia State University

Abstract. The article emphasizes that the novel-trilogy by K. Abramov "Stepan Erzya" is a panoramic work that shows the main character against the background of national reality. The originality of the work lies in the fact that the writer highlights the national paradigm as the basic idea, according to which the whole life dynamics of the protagonist, the Mordovian sculptor, is a proof that all his creative work is imbued with a folk spirit, the love of which he acquired in his childhood. Moreover, the notion of "native land" is transformed by K. Abramov as a socio-cultural category through which the personality qualities not only of the main character but secondary characters are revealed.
