SYNTACTIC FEATURES OF MODERN ENGLISH USED IN RUSSIA

Abstract. The article considers the process of diversification of the English language as the language of global communication. It is the main object of the study of variantology. The author analyzes a number of distinctive syntactic features of the Russian variant of the English language (Russian English): word order in a sentence, peculiarities of the use of some questions, negative sentences and syntactic complexes. Special emphasis is on the factors under the influence of which the syntax of the English language used in Russia is formed.
