PREDICATIVE-ARGUMENTATIVE STRUCTURE OF ENGLISH CAUSATIVE CONSTRUCTIONS LIKE "MAKE ONESELF UNDERSTOOD" AND ITS REALIZATION IN THE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE

Abstract. The article is devoted to studying the predicative-argumentative structure of the English causative constructions "make oneself understood", "make oneself heard", "make oneself known" and the specifics of its realization in the Russian language. The author identifies a type of the taxonomic category for each predicate and a set of obligatory and optional arguments. The argument represents common features of the situation participants and is a component of the predicate’s semantics. Changing a set of arguments involves the change of causative perspective of the sentence.
