ACTIVE WORD-FORMATIVE PROCESSES IN THE SYSTEM OF INTERNET COMMUNICATION

Abstract. The article considers active word-formative processes in the Runet. Special attention is paid to the function of innovations in the system of Internet communication. On the basis of the conducted analysis it is concluded that neologisms fulfill a nominative function, they are used as a means providing more economical implementation of a communication act, express an emotional evaluation of what is taking place, and also realize the author’s creative abilities.
