INTERFERENCE IN TRANSLATION TRAINING IN TECHNICAL INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION

Abstract. The paper investigates the role of interference in teaching translation of scientific-technical texts to students of technical institutions of higher education. In this connection the notion of interference and its kinds are considered. The author analyzes the examples of the automatic translation of the English language constructions into the Russian text in English classes with graduate students of Siberian State University of Geosystems and Technologies. The article substantiates the dependence of the quality of scientific-technical text translation on the awareness of the wide differences between the source language and the target language.
