INTERJECTION AS A LINGUISTIC UNIT: SPECIFICS OF CLASSIFYING

Abstract. In the modern science the studies of interjection as a special linguistic unit are characterized by the new approaches to classification, its structural and semantic regulation. Evidently, this peculiar in many ways linguistic unit requires special approaches to its studying. The author aims to summarize the available foundations for classifying interjections, to analyze their weak and strong points, to identify the basic criteria for studying this linguistic unit, to outline the tendencies for the development of studies in this sphere.
