THE RUSSIAN FOLK EPIC IN PRIMARY SCHOOL

Abstract. In the article the methodological foundations, identifying the peculiarities of the Russian folk epic interpretation, are revealed. The authors propose the analysis algorithms of fairy tales and bylinas and the plan of constructing the statement about the hero. The expansion of the genre and thematic composition of the works of folklore recommended for the study in primary school and the variety of methodological techniques of the study of folklore make the problem of folklore teaching one of higher-priority in the methods of literary reading.
