LOANWORDS IN THE LANGUAGE OF SERMONS BY GAVRIL STEFANOVI? VENCLOVI? AS A REPRESENTATION OF FOLK LINGUISTIC ELEMENT (BY THE MATERIAL OF THE UNPUBLISHED MANUSCRIPT OF 1732)

Abstract. The article by the material of the unpublished manuscript of 1732 analyzes the use of loanwords (Turkicisms) in the language of sermons by the Serbian writer of the first half of the XVIII century Gavril Stefanovi? Venclovi?. Semantic and stylistic context of using loanwords appearing as the typical feature of Venclovi?’s language shows that they refer to the colloquial vocabulary and are the integral part of folk phraseological fund on which and for the bearers of which the author created his sermons.
