COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF USING EVALUATIVE ADJECTIVES AND ADVERBS IN THE STUDENTS’ PUBLIC ARGUMENTATIVE SPEECH IN RUSSIAN AND IN ENGLISH

Abstract. The article is devoted to analyzing the use of evaluative adjectives and adverbs in the students’ public argumentative speech in Russian and in English. The author identified the motives for recoding the rational and emotional evaluation while switching from one language to another, and the evaluative adjectives accumulation within the small text fragment with a view to emphasize the emotive influence of the provided arguments.
