VARIABILITY AND SYNONYMY IN REGIONAL DIALECT OF BELGOROD AREA (BY THE MATERIAL OF LANDSCAPE VOCABULARY)

Abstract. The aim of this work is the analysis of lexical variants and synonyms in the group of Belgorod landscape regionyms characterizing the relief of the territory. The analysis of linguistic facts reveals the regional markedness of the vocabulary included in the thematic group "Relief" and the marginality of Belgorod speech as a special South-Russian regional dialect that manifests itself at all the levels of the language, and is represented in the facts of variability, primarily phonetic and semantic, and synonymy.
