EDUCATIONAL POTENTIAL OF THE DISCIPLINE "FOREIGN LANGUAGE" IN FORMATION OF INTERCULTURAL COMPETENCE OF STUDENTS OF NONLINGUISTIC DIRECTIONS OF TRAINING

Abstract. The article discusses the problem of the formation of the intercultural competence of the students of the nonlinguistic directions of training while studying a foreign language, and emphasizes the role of the educational potential of this discipline in the solution of the task. The main theses of the conception developed by the authors are stated. Their theoretical substantiation is given.
