METHODS OF SPEECH INFLUENCE IN PUBLICISTIC TEXTS ON RELIGIOUS SUBJECT MATTER BY THE MATERIAL OF THE FRENCH LANGUAGE

Abstract. The goal of the article is to investigate the methods of speech influence in publicistic texts on religious subject matter by the material of the French language. The paper gives examples of speech techniques; the usage of various figures of speech and tropes, which make the language of the press more emotional and expressive, is considered. The topicality of the conducted research is in the consideration of manipulative technologies involving illustrative material from the contemporary French mass media.
