STRUCTURAL MODELS OF ENGLISH COMPOUND TERMS IN THE SPHERE OF JURISPRUDENCE

Abstract. The article examines English compound terms of the sphere of jurisprudence which originate within the terminological system to designate specific conceptions. The syntactic method’s productivity is conditioned by the generic structure of the terminological system. The paper introduces the structural models to form two- and multi-component terminological combinations. Terminological vocabulary analysis indicates that the number of verbal terminological combinations is comparable with the substantive compound terms.
