Abstract. The article is devoted to some peculiarities of an instruction text in the Russian and French languages. The regularities of correspondence of direction forms in two linguocultures are disclosed. The examples from parallel texts of consumer guides are given. The author makes conclusion about a categorical character as the feature of Russian instructing texts.
