GENRE DOMINANT OF THE POLITICAL SPY NOVEL DURING "THE COLD WAR"

Abstract. This article is devoted to the complex research of the genre dominant of the political spy novel of "the cold war" period. Analyzing the spy novels of this period through the prism of the historical events that took place in the postwar world, divided into two diametrically opposite poles, the author seeks to trace the appearance of a new type of spy novel - a political one. The article attempts to highlight the same static features of a political spy novel in order to describe the composition of the genre dominant of the political spy novel of "the cold war" period.
