TRACES OF THE POLISH INFLUENCE IN THE MEMOIR PROSE OF THE XVIII CENTURY

Red'kina Natal'ya Sergeevna
Ryazan State University named after S. Yesenin

Abstract. The article is devoted to the study of lexical and phraseological borrowings from the Polish language found in the memoir prose of the XVIII century. Main attention is paid to the role of the Polish language as a language-mediator in the process of the Europeanization of the Russian literary language, and the author considers this by the example of the formation of the corpus of the Russian phraseology. The etymological aspect of the work is aimed at identifying languages-mediators in a chain of the successive borrowing of phraseological units from the Greek or Latin primary source.
Key words and phrases: языковые контакты, XVIII в, польский язык, фразеологические единицы, заимствования, мемуарная проза, language contacts, XVIII century, the Polish language, phraseological units, borrowings, memoir prose
