POLITICAL DISCOURSE (BY THE MATERIAL OF THE "HOT LINE" WITH THE PRESIDENT OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION V. V. PUTIN)

Abstract. The article reveals the contents of the notion "political discourse". Special attention, in the author’s opinion, should be paid to such genre of political discourse as a "hot line" with the President of the Russian Federation. Analyzing the speech utterances, the author notes that the President’s political discourse is characterized by the use of phraseological units from different spheres. It is also stated that phraseological units undergo a number of changes, in particular, the transformation of the structure, contamination, "mixing" of phraseological units.
