THE ROLE OF ISLAM IN THE FORMATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE TATAR SPIRITUAL AND RELIGIOUS WORLDVIEW

Abstract. After adopting Islam the Tatars over the centuries developed their spiritual and religious sphere under the influence of Muslim traditions and values which manifested themselves in their worldview. Along with Tengrism Islam influenced cardinally the formation of the Tatar world perception and worldview. The article discovers the role and place of Muslim faith in the formation of the Tatar spiritual and religious worldview.
