CHRISTIAN IDEAS AND BING XIN’S CREATIVE WORK OF THE FIRST QUARTER OF THE XX CENTURY

Abstract. The article is devoted to the problem of Christian ideas representation in the creative work of the popular Chinese authoress of the XX century Bing Xin. Christian ideas are clearly manifested in her works written at the beginning of the 1920s. In the poem "Divine Baby" based on a biblical story Bing Xin abandons the traditional form of xiaoshi miniature poem and introduces new vocabulary to translate Christian terms. Christian ideas motivated Bing Xin to create "the philosophy of universal love".
