ON SOME WORD-FORMATIVE SUFFIXES IN SH. I. GYUL'SHENI’S "DIVAN" WRITTEN IN THE AZERBAIJANI LANGUAGE

Abstract. "Divan" of the outstanding Eastern poet Sh. I. Gyul'sheni is considered as a written monument containing a rich language material. In the article the word-formative suffixes in the language of the monument are studied in the context of the historical development of word formation. The author aims at revealing the peculiarities of word-formative suffixes and other linguistic units in Sh. I. Gyul'sheni’s written monument "Divan". The results of the research can be used in the educational process during the preparation for lectures and seminars on the linguistics course.
