INTERTEXTUALITY OF POST-MODERNIST TEXT (BY THE MATERIAL OF TATYANA TOLSTAYA’S SHORT STORY "RIVER OKKERVIL")

Abstract. The article deals with a number of problems related to the theory of intertextuality. An analysis of the artistic features of Tatyana Tolstaya’s short story "River Okkervil" made it possible to conclude that the orientation towards contextuality is a categorical feature of the post-modernist text. It is revealed that the most frequent and functional precedent texts in the considered work of verbal creativity are works of the Russian classical literature, as well as romances and sculptural monuments.
