THE ROLE OF FOLKLORE IN PERSONALITY FORMATION (BY THE MATERIAL OF THE CHECHEN CHILDREN’S FOLKLORE)

Abstract. The relevance of the research theme is conditioned by the necessity to study children’s folklore as an art of child upbringing. The article clarifies the role of traditional and modern folklore in personality formation within the system of spiritual and moral development of the younger generation. The author emphasizes the importance of introducing the youngsters to the spiritual values of folk culture in the process of elementary education.
