FEATURES OF HYPOTACTIC CONNECTION IN POLYPREDICATIVE SENTENCE WITH PARATAXIS AND HYPOTAXIS

Rakova Kseniya Ivanovna
Belgorod National Research University

Abstract. The article deals with the features of hypotactic connection within the English polypredicative sentences with parataxis and hypotaxis. The author analyzes various types of hypotactic connection that are formed inside the hypotactic complex and outside it. Two-way connection is structure-forming in the hypotactic complex, while one-way connection, which holds the initial or final blocks, may reduce its strength and undergo the process of neutralization.
