Abstract. The article examines the addressee problem in the Tatar children’s prose. The author argues that a literary work presupposes the certain "imaginary reader" whose role is pre-established in the text. Any text creates its reader through the choice of a certain genre, linguistic code, literary style. By the example of F. Yarullin’s, G. Gilmanov’s, R. Bashar’s works the paper reveals the place of addressee image in literary text’s structure, identifies author’s markers indicating the addressee image within the concrete literary work.
