ESTHETICS OF EVERYDAY ABSURDITY IN L. PETRUSHEVSKAYA’S DRAMATURGY

Abstract. The article examines the problem of everyday absurdity in L. Petrushevskaya’s dramaturgy. Using textual material the paper shows the relevance of the conflict between everyday life and existence under the conditions of rapidly changing paradigm of Russia’s civilizational development at the turn of the XX-XXI centuries. L. Petrushevskaya’s dramaturgic works show clearly the changes in the system of values which over the decades maintained the standards of Soviet society. The paper emphasizes the burning problem of formation of a new type of behaviour, new gender relations and new axiological vector in the modern sociocultural space.
