Abstract. The article is devoted to the study of spelling of compound nouns in the Bashkir language. The author analyzes the terms of kinship, names of teeth, fingers and shawls. The paper attempts to codify spelling of these words as one word, separately and with a hyphen in writing. The examples are taken from "Academic dictionary of the Bashkir language".
