THE INFLUENCE OF ONOMATOPOEIC WORDS ON ONTOGENESIS OF THE SPEECH OF YOUNG PRESCHOOL-AGED CHILDREN (ON THE BASIS OF THE KABARDINO-CHERKESS LANGUAGE)

Abstract. The study of the formation of early children’s speech (developmental linguistics) is one of the young and therefore interesting topics in modern linguistics. Researchers, considering the pre-verbal period of child’s development, find common mechanisms and principles of ontogenesis of speech abilities of all mankind. The article is devoted to the probe of this issue within the framework of the Kabardino-Cherkess language, the identification of the role of interjectional units (interjections and onomatopoeias) in the language formation. The author also gives some tips for using this group of words to facilitate the adaptation of children to adult speech.
