Abstract. The article for the first time describes the peculiarities of semantic functioning of modern and ancient languages on the way to more exact original phonetic sound and meaning of speech sounds in the verbal-syllabic and root word systems. The study of lexicographical material has the comparative nature which is based on the analysis of linguistic units. Text analysis includes semantic comparative-historical correlations, modeling. Descriptive and quantitative methods are used to identify phonetic similarities between the Russian and Kabardian-Circassian language. The paper discovers typological and semantic similarity of the words with the common root systems and word forms in the Russian and Kabardian-Circassian languages.
