NEOLOGIZATION AS AN ELEMENT OF FILLING THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE VOCABULARY IN THE XXI CENTURY

Abstract. The article considers the language as a component of human mental activity as well as the factors influencing the changes in the language composition; the vocabulary of the language is analyzed. The author concentrates on the concept "neologism" and the classification of new lexical units that have been included in the English language in the 21st century. In the paper various ways of forming neologisms are studied, which are illustrated by the examples from modern popular online dictionaries.
