LEXICAL MEANS OF REPRESENTATION OF SOCIO-POLITICAL PROBLEMS IN THE GERMAN MUSICAL TEXTS

Abstract. The article examines the linguistic and cultural specificity and pragmatic potential of the German musical texts by analyzing the track of the German musician Marteria with the aim of defining a conceptual assessment of the reaction of the German youth to the results of the US presidential election in 2017. The analysis of lexical means of representation of socio-political problems shows that the musical text can sometimes be considered as a political discourse. The topicality of the paper is conditioned by the address to the texts of hip-hop culture, without which it is impossible to investigate issues related to the study of the German language in modern practice.
