MILITARY THEMES IN THE PHRASEOLOGY OF THE CHINESE LANGUAGE

Abstract. This article deals with the problem of phraseological units of the military themes in the Chinese language. On the basis of a comprehensive analysis of the Chinese linguists’ approaches the definition of "phraseology" is given, a classification of phraseological units of the military sphere is proposed. The paper provides examples of phraseological units that allow demonstrating clearly the existence of the process of "demilitarization" of military vocabulary in the modern Chinese language, which, in turn, can also be applied in various situations of verbal communication, unrelated to the military sphere.
