TENSE FORMS OF THE VERB IN THE INGUSH LANGUAGE

Abstract. The article examines the complicated system of the Ingush tense forms. The authors mention the obligatory relation of the verb tense with the moment of speech; identify the bases, from which verb tense forms are constructed. The paper describes in detail the ways to construct tense forms and phonetic changes occurring in verbs during this process: affixes expressing negative tense forms; suffixes added to participle - adverbial participle forms of the Present and Past Tense; regressive assimilation processes and the changes of root vowels of the infinitive.
