CONCEPTUAL STRUCTURE OF ENVIRONMENTAL TERMS OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE

Abstract. The article is devoted to the definition of the conceptual structure of environmental terms covering the sphere of respect for the environment, objects of the surrounding world. By the material of ecological sites in English, the authors have selected the cases where similar terms are found. The conceptual analysis has shown that basically the conceptual structure of environmental terms is not homogeneous; it can be a product of combining two concepts, one of which is the concept "frugality". And it is this concept that is defining in the conceptual structure of the terms.
