SPIRITUAL AND MORAL VALUES OF THE WRITER YURI YAKOVLEV’S CREATIVITY

Abstract. The article studies the spiritual and moral problems, which are represented in the creative work of the Soviet children’s writer Yuri Yakovlev (1922-1995). Relying on the literary analysis of the texts of his works, the author for the first time considers the individual circumstances of the biography, as well as intellectual and spiritual influences that contributed to the formation of the worldview values and creative principles of the writer. On the basis of the analysis of Yury Yakovlev’s works, their artistic method is defined as a kind of "childhood existentialism". It consists mostly of the plots, in which a small person begins to search for answers to fundamental philosophical life questions or for the first time faces a certain moral choice.
