А. S. PUSHKIN’S "UNIVERSAL TRUTH": TO THE STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM OF BIBLICAL AND KORANIC SOURCES OF THE POEM "THE PROPHET"

Abstract. The article deals with the problem of Pushkin’s universalism from the point of view of the missionary goal of his poetic creativity, which he stated in his policy poems written in different periods. The problem of the contextual analysis of the poem "The Prophet" is also actualized from the point of view of canonical plots and images’ perspective in Pushkin’s world outlook system. For the first time an attempt is made to find a new approach to the study of the classical text appealing to Biblical and Koranic sources not from the point of view of aesthetic, religious or atheistic attitudes, but from the point of view of the poet’s expression of "universal truth", associated with consistent preaching of the moral and ethical principles of being, which was the first point in Pushkin’s coordinate system.
