SEMANTIC PECULIARITIES OF SPECIAL VOCABULARY IN THE WORK "THE MOON IS A HARSH MISTRESS" BY R. HEINLEIN

Abstract. The article is devoted to the identification and analysis of the semantic peculiarities of special vocabulary in a fiction text. The author presents the definitions of the terms "special vocabulary" and "semantic space", which are among the key ones for this research. The method of the graph-semantic modelling is the main method of studying the semantic peculiarities of special vocabulary. Two graph-semantic models representing the semantic peculiarities of the examined phenomenon are the result of this method implementation. The stages of the study are supported with necessary examples from the work under consideration.
